Spaghetti Carbonara À La Mama

The perfect spaghetti carbonara à la mama recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Spaghetti
  • 300 ml Cream
  • 5 piece Eggs
  • 200 g Ham
  • 2 tbsp Grated Parmesan
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic
  • Olive oil for frying
  1. Dice the ham. Whisk eggs and cream together. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a little garlic. Mix in 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan. Boil the pasta and strain. Fry the ham in olive oil. Add the egg-cream mixture and let it set until almost constant, stirring constantly. Fold in the spaghetti, season to taste and serve immediately.
