Michi’s Cheese Salad
The perfect michi’s cheese salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Homemade mayo
- 200 g Boiled ham
- 300 g Tart apples
- 2 kl. Onion
- Mayonnaise
- 2 Eggs
- 200 ml Oil
- Lemon juice
- Sugar, salt
- Cut the cheese, ham, apples and an onion into small cubes. Mix gently in a bowl.
- Grate the second onion and fold into the cheese, ham, apple and onion masses. Mix with mayonnaise.
Mayo
- Mix two egg yolks together until they are light and creamy. While stirring constantly (preferably with a hand blender), slowly add the oil, first drop by drop, then as a thin stream. Keep stirring so that the mayo doesn’t curdle. Season to taste with lemon juice, sugar and a little salt.
- I took “ready-made mayo” here, it works too. Homemade is better, I know. It’s a lot of work to cut everything down, but it’s worth it.
