Sausage Ragout with Pasta

The perfect sausage ragout with pasta recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Spiral pasta
  • 200 g Meat sausage
  • 4 piece Onions
  • 3 tbsp Salt
  • 0,125 liter Tomato ketchup
  • 4 tbsp Chives rings
  • Rose paprika powder
  • Oil
  1. Bring 3 liters of water with the salt and a little oil to the boil. Add the pasta and bring to the boil. Stir every now and then so that the noodles don’t stick together. Now let the pasta boil for about 12 minutes. Drain through a sieve.
  2. Peel the onions and remove the skin from the sausage and cut both into thin slices. Heat the oil in a pan and brown both in it lightly.
  3. Add the ketchup and bring to the boil. Season the sauce to taste and mix with the pasta and chives. Let it steep briefly and season to taste again. Serve hot.
