Moist, simple sheet cake – foolproof
Combine butter, sugar, eggs, baking powder, and flour in a creamy batter, adding a splash of milk if desired. Spread the batter onto a deep baking sheet lined with baking paper. Blend the crumble ingredients into thick crumbles and spread them over the batter. Bake at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 20 minutes; the crumble should be lightly browned. Immediately after baking, pour the whipped cream evenly over the hot cake. Ideally, let it set overnight. Go for it, folks; the results will blow you away!
