Honey – Ginger – Carrots

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g carrot(s)
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 piece(s) star anise, small
  • 1 tsp honey (acacia or flower)
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ bunch parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the carrots and slice them into 5mm thin slices. Melt the butter in a small saucepan and briefly sauté the ginger. Add the star anise, honey, and 3 tablespoons of water, and stir in the carrot slices. Cover and sauté the carrots over low heat for 8 minutes, turning frequently. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice. Chop the parsley and stir in.
