Coleslaw without anything, quickly made

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 pointed cabbage
  • 1 g salt
  • 1 g pepper
  • 1 g sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

It tastes even better without vinegar and oil.

Quarter the pointed cabbage and remove the stalk. Cut one piece of each quarter crosswise into 5 mm thin strips, all the leaves at once. Place the strips in a bowl. Add salt, pepper, and sugar and knead the lettuce until all the strips are broken, the water starts to run out, and the cabbage is soft. The white cabbage salad is ready. It takes less than 5 minutes, and it doesn’t need to marinate. It can even wait hours in the fridge before being served at the dinner table. It isn’t drowned in vinegar or made greasy with oil; instead, the sweet flavor of the pointed cabbage comes through when prepared this way, making it appealing even to people who don’t normally eat salads. The pepper gives it its spiciness.
