Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g natural yogurt
  • 120 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 400 ml whipped cream
  • 250 g berries, mixed, frozen, alternatively fruit as desired
  • n. B. Sugar for sprinkling

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 15 minutes

Combine the yogurt, sugar, and vanilla sugar in a bowl and mix together. Whisk the cream until stiff peaks form and fold it into the yogurt mixture. Line a sieve with a tea towel and place it on top of a larger bowl (to serve as a drain). Pour the mixture into the sieve and refrigerate overnight. Before serving, tip the mixture out of the sieve onto a platter and top with fruit, sweetening lightly with sugar if desired. Tip: Thawed frozen berries, red fruit compote, or fresh strawberries go very well with this. A super simple recipe that’s sure to impress guests. It looks and tastes great!
