Strawberry sparkling wine jam

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 g strawberries
  • 250 ml dry sparkling wine
  • 500 g gelling sugar 2:1

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Makes approx. 5 – 6 glasses of 230 ml each

Hull and finely dice the strawberries. Combine them with the sparkling wine and preserving sugar in a large saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat, stirring occasionally. Boil briskly for 4 minutes while stirring. Immediately fill to the brim in hot, rinsed twist-off jars, seal tightly, and let stand upside down for 5 minutes.
