Pasta with sauerkraut

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g ham, diced
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 can sauerkraut
  • ¼ liter vegetable broth
  • 300 g pasta
  • 1 cup sour cream or crème fraîche

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Fry the ham cubes in the pan. Peel and finely chop the onions. Then add them and sauté. Add the sauerkraut, sauté briefly, and mix well. Pour in 1/4 l vegetable stock and simmer for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Stir the sauerkraut occasionally while simmering. Finally, stir in 1 cup sour cream or crème fraîche and season with salt and pepper. Fold in the pasta and mix well. Serve hot.
