Strawberry jam for winter

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 5 kg strawberries, frozen
  • 1 bag of passion fruit puree, 750 ml
  • 3 packs of gelling sugar 3:1, 500 g each
  • 1 sachet of vanilla extract

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

very quick and easy, for 20 glasses of 480 ml each

For 20 jars (480 ml each): Thaw strawberries and bring to a boil with passion fruit puree, vanilla extract, and sugar. Boil gently for about 4-5 minutes, test for set, and then bottle. I’ve made this three times this fall and winter. It’s strange how you gain so many friends all at once. The jam is amazing.
