Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 pork steaks
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • some bacon or ham cubes
  • 4 thin tomato slices
  • 2 slices of cheese (Gouda)
  • some oil (sunflower oil) for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Fry the steaks in the pan as usual. Press the garlic cloves and then mash the garlic mixture until it forms an easy-to-spread paste. Spread the garlic paste generously over the fried steaks and add some bacon or diced ham (careful: not too much, or the dish will be too salty). Finally, place two tomato slices and a slice of cheese on each steak. Bake everything in the oven at approximately 200°C for 20 minutes.
