Banana-apple-pineapple jam

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 bananas
  • 6 small apples
  • 1 liter pineapple juice (straight juice)
  • 3 lemons
  • rum
  • 1,000 g gelling sugar 2:1
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Peel and chop the apples and bananas. Drizzle with lemon juice and pour in the pineapple juice. Add the gelling sugar and cook according to the package instructions. Just before the end, add rum, if desired, and cinnamon. Puree the mixture and test for settling. Pour the jam into jars and seal immediately. The jam also tastes delicious in yogurt.
