Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 1 ½ kg pork for schnitzel
- 2 cans of asparagus (stalks), reserve juice
- 2 large onions
- 2 cans of mushrooms
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup of sweet cream
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Brown the strips in a pan, season with salt and pepper. In a second pan, sauté the onions and mushrooms. Layer both in an ovenproof dish (meat first) and then arrange the asparagus on top. Mix the sour cream and sweet cream and pour over half a can of the asparagus water. Sprinkle with a few flakes of butter or margarine. Cover the dish with a lid (or cover with aluminum foil). Bake in the oven (convection oven at 190°C) for 45 minutes. Spätzle (spaetzle) is delicious with this dish.
