Orange mulled wine

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 750 ml white wine, dry
  • 250 ml orange juice
  • 90 g sugar
  • 1 bag of mulled wine spice
  • 40 ml Grand Marnier
  • possibly sugar, for decoration

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Pour the white wine into a large pot with the sugar and orange juice and heat until hot. Then remove the pot from the stove and add the sachet of mulled wine spices to the pot and let it steep for 10 minutes (alternatively, you can mix the spices yourself to your liking). Finally, season the mulled wine with Grand Marnier. You can also add a sugar rim to the glasses; it looks good. Tips: Don’t use cheap wine for mulled wine, as these already contain sugar, and the sugar will quickly go to your head. The better the wine, the better the mulled wine! It also makes a great gift. Once cooled, pour it into a nice bottle and decorate with a cinnamon stick or the recipe. It makes a great souvenir.
