Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g fresh mushrooms, cut into 3 mm thick slices
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 50 ml cream
- 1 tbsp onion(s), grated
- 1 pinch(s) of sugar
- ½ tsp salt
- 2 pinch(s) white pepper
- some lettuce

Bring water and lemon juice to a boil in a saucepan. Add the mushrooms and cover. Reduce the heat and let them simmer gently for 2-3 minutes. Place the mushrooms in a sieve and pat dry with kitchen paper. Combine the cream, onion, salt, and pepper, add the mushrooms, and toss to combine. Serve on fresh, dry lettuce leaves. Alternatively, you can also use porcini mushrooms.
