Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 oranges
- some orange peel, grated
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- some rum
- 40 g cornstarch
- 250 ml water
- 125 ml cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes
Combine the orange juice, grated orange zest, sugar, vanilla sugar, a little rum, and cornstarch in a fizzing bowl. Stir into the boiling water and bring to a boil briefly. Lightly fold the stiffly whipped cream into the cooled mixture. Ladle into dessert bowls and let stand for a while.
