Tomato layered salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 6 large tomatoes, vine tomatoes
  • 150 g cheese, grated Gouda, alternatively mozzarella
  • 2 bunches of chives or a bunch of spring onions
  • 7 eggs, hard boiled
  • 250 ml tartar sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • 100 g sweet cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Wash the tomatoes and slice them thinly. Wash and finely slice the chives. Mix the remoulade with the cream. Peel and slice the hard-boiled eggs. In a bowl, first add some remoulade, then a layer of tomato slices, seasoning them with salt and pepper, then the egg slices and top with the cheese. Repeat until all the ingredients are used up. Finely chopped spring onions also work well instead of chives. Let them marinate for a while.
