Aurora's warm apple muesli Bircher style – also suitable for apple allergy sufferers

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 40 g oat flakes
  • 50 ml milk
  • 1 apple, grated
  • 1 pot of low-fat yogurt with cereals, 125 g, variety of your choice, or low-fat natural yogurt
  • 1 tsp, levelled brown sugar
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 3 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 3 minutes

can also be eaten cold, good as a low-calorie, filling breakfast

Soak the oats overnight in the milk with cinnamon. The next morning, coarsely grate a large apple (peel it first for allergy sufferers!) and fold it into the oats along with the yogurt. Then microwave the muesli in a microwave-safe dish at 600 watts for 3-4 minutes. Stir occasionally. I’m allergic to various (raw) fruits, so I tried it this way and didn’t have an allergic reaction. Plus, it tastes really good and keeps you full for a long time.
