Recipe for about 24 waffles

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the eggs while whisking. Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and pudding powder. Gradually stir in the kefir. Finally, add a splash of mineral water to make the waffles nice and light. Serving suggestion: Dust the waffles with powdered sugar or serve them with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Cherries also taste great with them. Tip: If you’re not eating the waffles right away, let them cool individually so they don’t stick together. Leftover waffles can also be frozen. Bake the frozen waffles on a wire rack in a preheated oven at 140°C (120°C fan oven) for 5-6 minutes.
