Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 cups sour cream
- 8 potatoes, medium to large
- nutmeg
- 3 tsp, leveled salt

easy and fast
Peel the potatoes and thinly slice or grate them. Mix the sour cream with salt and a generous amount of nutmeg. Mix the sour cream mixture with the potato slices in a large bowl. Transfer everything to a baking dish (shallow rather than very deep) and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about one hour. Cover with aluminum foil if it’s getting too brown. Pierce the potatoes occasionally to check they’re done. Can also be prepared as a main course with potatoes, carrots, and kohlrabi.
