Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 700 g pumpkin flesh, diced (Hokaido or butternut squash)
  • 300 g apples, with peel, diced
  • 60 g marzipan, raw mass
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 1 tsp gingerbread spice
  • 1 packet of gelling sugar (2:1)
  • Lemon(s) – zest, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Sauté the pumpkin and apple cubes in butter (not too hot) until soft. Add the gelling sugar and marzipan mixture and puree with a hand blender. Then add all the other ingredients and let it simmer for 4 minutes. Pour into jars while still hot. This also makes a great Christmas gift for friends and neighbors.
