Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g butter, soft, in pieces
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 700 g apples, sour, peeled, quartered
  • 120 g cream
  • 100 g sugar
  • 3 eggs

For the dough, put the butter and sugar in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 seconds/speed 4. Add the eggs and mix in for 20 seconds/speed 4. Add the flour, baking powder and salt and mix for 10 seconds/speed 4 until you have a smooth dough. Pour the dough into a greased springform pan (26 cm). For the topping, score the apple quarters lengthwise 2-3 times and place them close together on the dough. The scores must not be covered with batter! Bake in a preheated oven (top/bottom heat 175°C on the 2nd rack) for 20 minutes. In the meantime, prepare the icing. To do this, put the ingredients in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 seconds/speed 5. Pour the icing over the pre-baked cake and bake for a further 35 minutes. Tip: the cake tastes great without the icing too.
