Ingredients for 8 servings:
- 430 g flour
- some salt
- 4 tbsp oil
- n. B. Water, approx. 250 ml
- 400 g crème fraîche
- 400 g onion(s)
- 200 g bacon, streaky, in thin slices
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Place the flour on the worktop and make a well in the center. Add the salt, oil, and water. Mix the water and flour with a fork. Knead into a soft dough that shouldn’t feel sticky. The easiest way to make the dough is in a food processor: add all ingredients except the water and run on high speed, adding more water as you go, until you have a smooth dough. Divide the dough into eight portions and roll out very thinly, forming a round shape. Spread the dough sheets with crème fraîche, arrange the sliced onions on top, and sprinkle the sliced bacon on top. Bake in a hot oven at 220°C for 5 to 10 minutes (depending on the oven), until the base is crispy and the topping is bubbling. Goes well with wine!
