Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 large onions
  • 500 g meat sausage
  • 30 g butter
  • 2 swedes of 500 g each
  • ½ liter meat broth, hot
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 carnation(s)
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 500 g potatoes

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the peeled onions and cut the sausage into pieces. Brown both in butter. Peel and wash the turnips and cut them into small sticks. Add them to the boiling broth. Add the bay leaf, clove, and a pinch of sugar and cook for 20 minutes. Add the peeled and diced potatoes and cook for another 20 minutes. Stir in the onions and sausage. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
