Amarena Chocolate Muffins
The perfect amarena chocolate muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 100 g Butter
- 75 g Dark chocolate
- 110 g Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 15 g Baking cocoa
- 200 gr Flour
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 1 Glass Amarena cherries in syrup
- 100 gr Powdered sugar
- Process all ingredients except for the butter, chocolate, powdered sugar and amarena cherries into a dough.
- Dissolve the butter in a double boiler and add the chocolate until it has melted. Add this to the dough and stir again.
- Catch the syrup of the Amarena cherries, cut them into small pieces and fold them into the dough.
- Now put the dough in muffin molds and bake on the middle rack at 170 degrees for about 15 minutes.
- Mix the amarena syrup with 100 g powdered sugar and pour over the muffins as a frosting.
