Amarena Chocolate Muffins

The perfect amarena chocolate muffins recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Butter
  • 75 g Dark chocolate
  • 110 g Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 15 g Baking cocoa
  • 200 gr Flour
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 Glass Amarena cherries in syrup
  • 100 gr Powdered sugar
  1. Process all ingredients except for the butter, chocolate, powdered sugar and amarena cherries into a dough.
  2. Dissolve the butter in a double boiler and add the chocolate until it has melted. Add this to the dough and stir again.
  3. Catch the syrup of the Amarena cherries, cut them into small pieces and fold them into the dough.
  4. Now put the dough in muffin molds and bake on the middle rack at 170 degrees for about 15 minutes.
  5. Mix the amarena syrup with 100 g powdered sugar and pour over the muffins as a frosting.
