Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g butter
  • 175 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tsp rum
  • 500 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • n. B. Water, hot, approx. 3 – 4 tbsp
  • 1 tbsp rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Combine butter, sugar, eggs, and salt in a foamy mixture. Add the milk and rum, and mix in the flour mixed with baking powder. Using a tablespoon, form small mounds of dough onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake in a preheated oven at approximately 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes. Make the glaze and spread it over the American cookies.
