Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 onions
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • ¼ tsp paprika powder
  • ¾ cup(s) tomato ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup(s) water

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 10 minutes

Place the chops in an ovenproof dish. Sauté the onions, add the sugar, lemon juice, and vinegar, and bring to a boil. Pour over the meat. Mix all the spices with water and ketchup and pour over the meat. Cook the chops at 200°C for about 50 minutes. Baste with sauce occasionally.
