Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 2 gherkins
  • 3 stalks of parsley, flat
  • 200 g mayonnaise
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 baguette(s)
  • 150 g cooked ham, in thin slices
  • 4 slices of mountain cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 23 minutes

For the remoulade, finely dice the shallot and cucumber. Pluck the parsley leaves from the stems and finely chop. Mix the prepared ingredients with the mayonnaise. Slice the tomatoes. Cut the baguette in half horizontally. Spread the remoulade on the cut sides. Cover the bottom with tomatoes, ham, and cheese. Place the top of the baguette on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat: 200°C) for about 8 minutes. Cut into 4 pieces.
