Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 200 ml Aperol
- 550 ml orange juice
- 500 g gelling sugar 2:1
- 1 organic orange(s), zest and juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Combine the orange juice, Aperol, and the thinly grated zest of one orange in a saucepan, then stir in the gelling sugar. Boil the mixture for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Now pour into hot, rinsed jars and seal them tightly. Note: You can either squeeze the juice from fresh oranges, but a good store-bought juice will also work. Whether you use it with or without the pulp is up to you.
