Apple and curd casserole

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 75 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla flavor
  • 500 g apples, sour
  • e.g. raisins
  • n. B. Rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cream the butter until creamy. Gradually stir in the sugar, vanilla sugar, eggs, salt, and quark. Add the custard powder and beat in. Peel and core the apples. Cut about half of the apples into small pieces and fold them into the quark mixture. If desired, you can also stir in raisins, perhaps soaked in rum, into the quark mixture. Cut the remaining apples into wedges. Pour the quark mixture into a shallow baking dish and arrange the apple slices on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C fan-assisted or 200°C top/bottom heat for about 25 minutes.
