Apple cider punch

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 1 kg apples, red
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 250 ml Amaretto
  • 1 bottle of apple wine, alternatively tart cider
  • 2 bottles of sparkling wine

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 hours; Total time approx. 5 hours 10 minutes

the Hessian national drink with a twist

Wash the apples and dice them unpeeled. Mix them with cinnamon and amaretto and chill for a few hours. Before serving, place the apples in a punch bowl and fill with cider and sparkling wine. Don’t forget the forks for the apples.
