Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 apples peeled, pitted and finely diced
- ½ cup water, approx. 125 ml
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- ½ tsp rosemary, dried
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 cup of cream (200 g)
- 200 g sour cream
- 250 g quark
- 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 1 pack of Sahnefest
- eggnog
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 6 hours 40 minutes
Cook the diced apples with the water, cinnamon powder, vanilla sugar, and rosemary for about 10 minutes until a compote forms. Let cool thoroughly. Whip the cream, sour cream, and quark with the vanilla sugar and cream stabilizer until stiff peaks form. Layer the apple compote and cream into small bowls and refrigerate for about 6 hours. Pour the advocaat over the top before serving.
