Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg apples
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 125 g butter or margarine
- 100 g sugar
- 150 g oat flakes, wholegrain
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
Peel, quarter, core, and slice the apples. Drizzle with lemon juice. Melt the butter or margarine and brush it onto an ovenproof dish. Set aside the remaining fat. Layer the apple slices in the dish. Mix the sugar with the oats, cinnamon, and the remaining fat and spread over the apples. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (top/bottom heat) for about 45 minutes.
