Apple Crumble with Maple Syrup Cream
The perfect apple crumble with maple syrup cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the crumble
- 4 Apples
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 50 g Flour
- 60 g Butter
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
for the cream
- 250 dl Cream
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 5 tsp Maple syrup
- 3 tsp Greek yogurt
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
- Peel, core and cut the apples into small pieces, then drizzle with lemon juice and divide into four small ovenproof dishes (you can also use just one, just bigger).
- Cut the butter into cubes and rub the flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon and sugar between your hands until crumbly, so that you get an evenly mixed crumble mixture. Spread the crumbles over the apples and bake the crumbles in the upper half of the oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
- For the maple syrup sauce, whip the cream until stiff and then add the yoghurt, maple syrup and the remaining cinnamon and stir everything well.
- Serve the crumble warm, serve the sauce separately.
