Apple dressing with fresh apple

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 apple, sour (e.g. Berlepsch)
  • 1 tbsp vinegar (apple cider vinegar)
  • 3 tbsp oil (e.g. safflower oil)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Quarter the apple, peel, and core it. Cut the apple into small pieces, then place it in a tall container. Add the vinegar, oil, pepper, and salt. Blend everything with a hand blender until smooth. Add a little more sugar to taste. I add lemon juice, depending on the type of apple, to prevent the sauce from turning brown if it sits for a while. If the sauce is too thick, add a little sparkling water. Delicious with a mixed platter of iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh mushrooms, etc.
