Porcini mushroom oil

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml olive oil, best
  • ½ handful of porcini mushrooms, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

e.g. for salads or as a marinade

Finely chop the dried porcini mushrooms and cover them with olive oil in a clean screw-top bottle. Let it steep in a cool place for about two weeks. The oil can now be used as salad oil. It’s great with lamb’s lettuce, for example. It’s also delicious as a finishing touch to soups. It also tastes very flavorful in marinades for beef steaks.
