Apple nougat muffins

Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 2 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 80 ml oil
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 250 g yogurt
  • 100 g chocolate (nougat)
  • 1 apple
  • 75 g Nutella (nut nougat cream)

Place paper baking cups in the muffin tin and preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat) or 175°C (fan oven). Sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda and mix well. Chop the chocolate into small pieces. Peel, core, and cut the apples into small pieces. In a second bowl, beat the egg and sugar until frothy and stir in the vanilla sugar, oil, yogurt, and hazelnut spread. Fold in the flour mixture and carefully add the apple pieces and chocolate. Pour the batter into the muffins and bake for 25-30 minutes. When the muffins are golden brown, remove from the oven, let cool, and enjoy.
