Apple-vanilla semolina porridge

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 ml cream
  • 350 ml milk
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 3 drops of vanilla flavor
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 20 g butter
  • 1 apple
  • 70 g semolina (soft wheat)
  • Cinnamon and sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

delicious as a dessert, but also for any other occasion!

Peel and core the apple, and cut it into approximately 1 cm pieces. Combine the milk, cream, vanilla sugar, sugar, vanilla flavoring, salt, butter, and apple pieces in a saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and slowly add the semolina. Stir until the porridge is nice and mushy, or until it briefly bubbles again. Ladle the finished apple-vanilla semolina porridge into plates or bowls and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar to taste.
