Applesauce with banana

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g apples, peeled and cleaned
  • 2 bananas
  • 4 tbsp honey
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

no added sugar

Peel, core, and slice the apples. Place them in a saucepan with a little water and heat. Peel the banana and slice it as well. Add it to the pan along with the honey and cinnamon. Simmer over low heat until the apples are soft. Remove from heat, let cool slightly, and puree. Store in the refrigerator. The applesauce will keep longer if you pour it into sterile jars while it’s still warm and seal it immediately.
