Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 5 apples
  • 20 g ginger root, unpeeled and uncut
  • 200 ml apple juice
  • 200 ml water
  • 1 pinch(s) chili
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

WW suitable

Peel and dice the apples and ginger. Simmer the diced apples and ginger with water, apple juice, maple syrup, and chili. Add more liquid if necessary. When the apples are soft, puree them with an immersion blender. The applesauce tastes great with natural yogurt. I used a ring of about 0.5 cm from a dried chili pepper. This gives it a slight spiciness.
