Asian noodle stir-fry

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g noodles (Chow Mai noodles)
  • 200 g pork
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce, light
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • ¼ liter vegetable broth
  • 1 tsp sambal oelek
  • 200 g mixed vegetables, frozen (Chinese vegetables, wok vegetables)
  • Garlic
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Cook the noodles according to the package instructions and drain. Cut the meat into strips. Add oil to a deep pan, brown the meat, and season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Add the vegetables and stir-fry. Chinese or wok-fried vegetables are recommended, but you can also vary them to your taste. Add the noodles and stir-fry briefly. Mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sambal oelek, and vegetable stock. If you don’t like it too spicy, be careful with the sambal oelek. Add the sauce mixture to the pan, bring to a boil briefly, season to taste, and serve.
