Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 m.-sized avocado(s), ripe
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped or squeezed
- 1 medium-sized lemon(s), juice
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- some salt
- possibly pepper, freshly ground
Instructions

for avocado purists
Peel, pit, and slice the avocados. Combine them in a shallow bowl with all the ingredients and mash with a fork until more or less smooth. For an even smoother consistency, you can also use an immersion blender. This avocado “guacamole” is perfect with grilled food, baked potatoes, as a spread, or as a dip for tortilla chips. The lemon also prevents the dip from browning as quickly.
