Babybel in a ham wrap

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 6 small cheeses (Babybel)
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 1 egg(s)
  • some breadcrumbs
  • some oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

simple and delicious

Unwrap the Babybels. Cut the ham slices into strips as wide as the Babybels. Each cheese needs two strips. Roll the first strip of ham around each strip, turn it 90 degrees, and roll it in the second strip. Coat the cheese parcels in beaten egg and roll them in breadcrumbs, just like you would make schnitzel. No need to add any seasoning, as both the cheese and ham are already seasoned. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the Babybels briefly on both sides. Don’t overcook them, or the cheese will run out. Serve with a delicious salad. The ham-wrapped Babybels taste great both hot and cold, although I prefer them hot.
