Baked apple mulled wine

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1.4 liters of cider
  • 600 ml apple juice, naturally cloudy
  • 120 g honey
  • 1 vanilla pod(s)
  • 2 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 5 cloves

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Combine the wine, juice, and honey in a saucepan. Split the vanilla pod. Place the spices in a tea bag, seal it, and add it to the saucepan. Heat everything, but do not boil. Turn off the heat. Then let it steep for a few hours. Remove the spices, heat the mulled wine, and serve hot.
