Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 kg potatoes
- 20 g breadcrumbs
- 50 g butter
- 75 g Emmental cheese, grated
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Peel and wash the potatoes, bring to a boil in salted water. Boil for about 10 minutes, drain, and slice while still warm. Arrange potato slices in a shallow baking dish, sprinkle with salt, pepper, and breadcrumbs. Place small pieces of butter on top and scatter the Emmental cheese over the top. Place the dish on a rack in an oven preheated to 200-220°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes.
