Baked mushroom and cheese bread

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 slices of rye bread in a loaf pan
  • 200 g mushrooms, brown
  • 2 shallots
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • some butter
  • 2 tbsp, heaped cream cheese
  • 120 g Cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 tsp rosemary needles, fresh
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp, heaped berries, pink

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 18 minutes

Toast the bread slices. Trim and finely chop the mushrooms. Peel and finely dice the shallots and garlic, and sauté them with the mushrooms in the heated butter. Add the cream cheese, cheddar, and chopped rosemary. Mix all ingredients, season with salt and pepper, and spread on the bread. Place on a baking sheet and broil. Serve sprinkled with pink berries.
