Baked potatoes with delicious yogurt sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 250 g natural yogurt
  • 100 g quark
  • 1 dash of cream
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped, works well without
  • 10 m.-sized potatoes
  • Salt, coarse
  • Caraway, can also be omitted
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

ideal with grilled food

Mix together the yogurt, quark, and cream. Season with salt, pepper, sugar, and garlic, and let stand until the potatoes are tender. Wash the potatoes, cut them in half, and place them on a baking sheet. Brush the cut surface with oil and sprinkle with coarse salt and, if desired, caraway seeds. (If guests are coming, I would use half with and half without.) Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 35 minutes. The potatoes and sauce are best served with grilled food or steaks. When grilling, you’ll almost fill up on potatoes before you even eat the meat. You eat the skins too.
