Baked tomato and pineapple schnitzel

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500 g pork schnitzel or veal schnitzel, turkey schnitzel or chicken breast
  • 300 g pineapple
  • 300 g tomatoes
  • 1 handful of cheese, grated
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • curry
  • some garlic

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash the meat, dry it, and sear it briefly on both sides in a little oil in a pan. Cut the tomatoes and pineapple into small pieces and place them in an ovenproof casserole dish. Mix with the seasonings. Add the schnitzels and cover lightly with the tomato and pineapple mixture. Sprinkle with a handful of cheese and bake in the oven at about 180°C for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is nicely browned. I serve it with baguette and a small salad.
