Baked turkey steaks with potato crust

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 thin steaks (turkey steaks)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper
  • 350 g boiled, peeled potatoes
  • 16 leaves of sage, fresh
  • 100 g cheese (Emmental), grated
  • 2 tbsp Cremefine for cooking

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Wash the steaks and pat dry. Heat the oil in a pan and sear the steaks for about 1 minute on each side. Season with salt and pepper and place on a baking sheet. If you used a non-stick pan for searing, you can reuse it and place the steaks back in. Slice the potatoes and arrange them on top of the steaks. Top with sage leaves. Mix the cheese with Cremefine and spread it on top of the potatoes. Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes. You can enjoy the dish as it is or serve it with a fresh salad.
