Baking: Apple Waffles

The perfect baking: apple waffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 125 g Soft butter
  • 250 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 80 g Raw cane sugar
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Sour cream
  • 100 ml Apple juice
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 300 g Grated apple
  • Cinnamon / sugar
  1. Peel and quarter the apples, remove the core and roughly grate.
  2. Mix the butter, flour, eggs, sugar, salt, sour cream and apple juice into a dough that is not too thick.
  3. Heat up the waffle iron.
  4. Now add baking powder and apple wedges to the batter and stir well.
  5. As soon as the waffle iron has reached baking temperature (here level 4), pour in approx. 2 – 3 tablespoons and bake the waffles until golden.
  6. Divide the wafers and sprinkle with cinnamon / sugar while warm and serve immediately. Whipped cream also tastes good with it.
  7. I baked 12 waffles from the amounts given above.
