Baking: Apple Waffles
The perfect baking: apple waffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 125 g Soft butter
- 250 g Spelled flour type 630
- 80 g Raw cane sugar
- 3 piece Eggs
- 1 pinch Salt
- 2 tablespoon Sour cream
- 100 ml Apple juice
- 2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 300 g Grated apple
- Cinnamon / sugar
- Peel and quarter the apples, remove the core and roughly grate.
- Mix the butter, flour, eggs, sugar, salt, sour cream and apple juice into a dough that is not too thick.
- Heat up the waffle iron.
- Now add baking powder and apple wedges to the batter and stir well.
- As soon as the waffle iron has reached baking temperature (here level 4), pour in approx. 2 – 3 tablespoons and bake the waffles until golden.
- Divide the wafers and sprinkle with cinnamon / sugar while warm and serve immediately. Whipped cream also tastes good with it.
